Repositioning Vacancies: Two Translators/ Interpreters
Note: The vacancies are limited to candidates who already are employees of government and wish to transfer to these new posts.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is seeking 2 individuals to fill the positions of Translators/ Interpreters in the department of translation at the Diwan of the ministry.
Basic Functions of the positions
Incumbents will serve as Translators/ Interpreters at the Dewan of the ministry, the primary responsibility is to translate news and events, documents, correspondences, legal papers, at sight translation and simultaneous translation as needed.
Qualifications Required
1. Applicants must be holders of BA in translation.
2. Must have good experience and prior knowledge in Kurdish-Arabic and English languages.
3. Must be willing to work as translator/ Interpreter in writing and speaking.
4. Must have computer literacy.
5. Must have 2 years of experience and prior work in the government sector.
6. Must agree to work for at least 2 years in the new position.
