Dr. Yusuf Goran, KRG Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, extended his condolences to family members of late student Nihad Ahmed Yassin, who passed away in a tragic accident.
“Unfortunately, On Tuesday June 28, 2015 we heard the news of passing away of late student Nihad Ahmed Yassin, student of College of Administration and Economy of Saladin University. On behalf of our ministry we extend our condolences to the family of the late student, who while he was working to earn his living has passed away in a tragic car accident on Erbil-Pirmam high way,” Dr. Yusuf Goran said in a condolence letter.
“We hope this would be the last tragedy and hardship for the family of the late student, and may God grant patience to his family, relatives, and friends,” Dr. Yusuf Goran said.
Late Nihad Ahmed Yassin was student of College of Administration and Economy of Saladin University and while he was in Summer vacation, he was earning his and his family’s living by working to water the trees on Erbil-Pirmam high-way. But, unfortunately on Tuesday while late Nihad Ahmed Yassin was at his work, the driver of a car lost control over the car on Erbil-Pirmam high way and overturned hitting the student and injuring him gravely. After rushing him to the hospital and staying for four hours in hospital, the student passed away.
