Under the supervision of His Excellency, Dr. Ali Saeed, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, health and safety directors from universities of the region had a meeting on 12th February, 2013.
Objectives of the meeting were to review the principle of health and safety in the universities to ensure perfect environments for the students, professors and university staff to improve and develop level and scientific and academic level and performance of the universities.
The meeting also discussed the formation of a committee to follow up the governmental and private student accommodations in terms of health and safety.
