Regarding a statement by Kurdistan Region’s Integrity Commission on announcing a list of those officials who did not filled the Commission’s form on disclosing their personal properties, we deem it necessary to announce several facts for the public:
-We clarify that most of those officials whose names were disclosed in the list, are no longer in their governmental posts, some of them transferred their service from the KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to other KRG ministries, some other of them are now being retired.
-Some of the names included in the list are those who are temporarily in their posts as deputy directors, and according to a formal document by the commission these officials are not obliged to fill the forms.
- Few of those included in the list did not returned the forms; because the commission in the first stage has send few forms to us and the officials did not have the forms. After the commission has send us extra forms, we distributed on the ministry’s officials and they will fill the forms and return them soon to the commission.
-Finally, we would like to clarify that the list adopted by Kurdistan Region’s Integrity Commission is old, since as we mentioned before some of the names are no longer officials of the ministry, or transferred their services from the KRG ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to other KRG ministries, and some other of them are now being retired.
