The KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research asks wiling applicants from the Kurdistan Region who are willing to study in private universities in the Kurdistani areas outside the Kurdistan Region , including private university colleges of Hadba, Nur, Qalam, Kitab, etc. to regret from studying in those university colleges as they office hours and not according to the scientific standards, and the admission score is lower as compared with the Kurdistan region’s private universities.
The KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reaffirms on its previous stance that we neither recognize those university colleges nor we will treat them in any way. This stance by the ministry is stipulated in formal document numbered (6831) addressed to the KRG Council of Ministers in April 6th, 2015 about taking action regarding Hadba, Nur,Qalam, Kitab Private University Colleges, and the KRG Council of Ministers via formal document (3193) on April 22, 2015 generalized its decision to all the KRG ministries and bodies that holders of certificates from those above-mentioned universities will not be recognized in the Kurdistan Region. In addition, certificate holders will not appointed or given any qualifications in the KRG ministries.
Thus, those students who are now studying in those university colleges are wasting their own time and money, accordingly we ask fresh willing applicants not to waste their time and money in such universities, but rather they can go the private universities in the Kurdistan Region which are permitted by the KRG Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and work within the ministry’s decisions and instructions.
