The Ministry of Higher Education will not be paid by The Ministry of Finance anymore

Based on the steps of The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to fulfil the independency of finance, stepped its first step toward the goal in which it is not received the mortgage loan from the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

In this regard, Abas Akram, The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s spokesman said, “From the beginning of starting up the financial crises, The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research started its path toward independent in terms of finance via performing some projects.”

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s spokesman explained more and said, “In 29th of Nov and backed by the stamped document by Dr. Yusuf Goran, The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the # of the document was 18097 had been sent to the presidency of Ministries Council and explained that from now onward the Ministry’s HQ would not receive the scientific incentive or mortgage but counted on its revenue to get done the works of the HQ of Ministry.”

As it is mentioned in the document that the Ministry would not need the finance of monthly incentive by Ministry of Finance but let the money go to the treasury of government and would depend on their revenue to the expense of the HQ.

Abas Akram also said that in universities there have been done great works on the way of independency of finance project in which issued on the 2nd of May, 2016 in the document # 86 by the Ministries Council Presidency.  It brought great achievement for the universities, because the universities count on themselves financially and will not go back to Finance Ministry to spend the salary of lecturers, but they are spent by the universities themselves and this will be a great support to let education process goes on its feet.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s spokesperson emphasized on the point that the steps and works of ministry will continue to be more independent financially.
