Curriculums of Several Colleges to be reviewed

The KRG Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to open departments of Computer Education, Sports, and Fine Arts in the College of Basic Education in evenings for teachers.

 The KRG Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the KRG ministry of Education jointly will hold a conference next month to review the curriculum of both colleges of Education and Humanity Sciences.

These decisions were made during a joint meeting between both the KRG Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research and the KRG Ministry of Education on Wednesday April 1st, 2015. The meeting was supervised jointly by Dr. Yusuf Goran, the KRG Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Pshtiwan Sadiq, the KRG Minister for Education.

Advisors and general directors of both ministries attended the meeting in which the opening of departments of Computer Education, Sports, and Fine Arts in the College of Basic Education in evenings for teachers was discussed. The attendees also decided that the KRG Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research to take necessary measures and preparations for this purpose.

 They also decided the forming of a special joint committee between both ministries for reviewing the curriculums of both colleges of Education and Humanity Sciences. It has been decided that until the next June tasks of the committee to be finished.

In another part of the meeting, it has been decided that the ministry of education accelerate the annual announcement of Zanko Line process for enrolling peoples of 12th class of basic education into universities and institutes.

Dr. Yusuf Goran proposed promoting the English language study in all stages of education.

They also discussed several miscellaneous topics, and proper decisions in these regard were made
