The Ministry of Higher Education Set the Conditions of Studying Bachelor in Medicine and Engineering at Abroad

                                                                                                             In aim at increasing the quality of studying of the students who study in abroad, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research set the GPA limit of studying Medicine and Engineering at abroad.

Abbas Akram, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific’s spokesman said, “Each year, a great number of students head to study bachelor degree in medicine and engineering at the abroad universities.  In doing this, our ministry - to practice its total responsibility and increase the quality of study and backed by the decision of Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and ministry’s council - set some conditions to the students who study at abroad in medicine and engineering.”

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s spokesman pointed to the conditions of the decisions, “Regarding the ones who want to study medicine, the GPA has not to be less than 85% and for the Dentistry College and pharmacy, the GPA has not to be less than 80%, and for the engineering, the GPA has not to be less than 75%, too.”

Abbas Akram also said, “The students who head to study at abroad have to be the graduates of the 12th class of high school; scientific students in which is not applied for the art students.  Before starting their studies, the students have to fill an application form at our ministry.  The decision’s been in action since 30th of March2016.”
