The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is pleased to enlighten the enthusiastic and talentedstudents and ambitious young of Kurdistan Region that the application for third round of HCDP will commence in the very near future; The ministry is strongly encouraging the potential applicants to prepare all the necessary documents in addition to the required tests and other steps which will increase their chances to secure a place in the scholarship program such as:
1.Applicants should take a recognized English language test such as (TOEFL,IELTS,ESOL,PASSWORD,PEARSON)
2.Applicants should obtain an offer for studying from one of the universities that is recognized by the ministry of higher education, please see the list of universities on MHE website.
The conditions for applying to the program still the same as the earlier two rounds, in other words, applicants must have GPA (graduation mark) of no less than 65% or applicant must be in the first quarter of graduates in his/ her class. In case if the applicant was successful in obtaining an unconditional offer from one of the top 25 universities according to Shanghai list and have scored 550 in TOEFL, then he/ she will enter the program without considering the GPA.
The age limit for applicants is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for Doctoral It is good to know that 5 points will be added to the total scored points in the program to the first degree family members of martyrs and anfaled persons.
