The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Kurdistan Region has decided in its recent meeting held in 1-3-2011 to host the Kurdish students in 2nd and 3rd stages who are studying in universities at southern or central Iraq in the Regions Universities, this decision is made after taking into consideration instability in the security situation in some parts of Iraq and the safety of students who are studying there. The students will be hosted in colleges and departments that match their studying; this decision is made through coordination with the universities where students are studying originally and the students themselves.
It is also good to know that the decision is only covering the students who are studying in south or center of Iraq with prior verification of the Ministry to study and now are in the 2nd or 3rd stage, that is to say they have successfully passed 1st stage
