At the presence of the general counselor of UAE to Erbil H.E Dr. Ali Sindi the Minister of Planning received a high level delegation from united Arab Emirate headed by Mr. Muhammad Bn Hawdin. The purpose of delegation visit to the Kurdistan region is to enhance trade relation between two countries

Muhammad Bn Hawdin reveled that Kurdistan region is a prime target of the Emiratis in general and Shriqa in particular investors and businessman's, also he uncover that we are aiming to open a representative office of Shriqa chamber of commerce office in Erbil, the view of the delegation is Kurdistan is a window of opportunity and also a gateway to rest of Iraq and the region for UAE investors.

The delegations were very impressed by the recent Kurdistan parliamentary election process and they congratulate Kurdish people for on-going democratic process and successful election process.  

The Minister of Planning talked through the (KRG) development and construction policy and he command the good relation between Kurdistan and UAE, also he confirmed to the delegation that the Kurdistan region government will welcome all investors and business companies from UAE to invest in Kurdistan region.

The Minister of Planning reaffirm a good wishes of the Kurdish people toward UAE citizens and rest of world also he emphasized that the (KRG) will continues with development and building strong economic infrastructure policy in Kurdistan region
