Directorate of Regional Planning is part of the general directorate of strategic planning.

Regional planning aims to address the social and economic differences between the various social groups. It plans to present opportunities through the best utilization of the available resources.

The directorate of Regional Planning is made of the following Sections:

1. Identification of locations for new towns and industrial zones

2. Area development section

3. Development and plans for housing

4. Investment Direction
