- First Appointment was in Erbil, 1980.
- Head of Planning Department of secretariat-general for social affairs in 1986.
- Director of Duhok Custom in 1993.
- Advisor in Ministry of Financial & Economics (KRG) in 1993.
- Director General of incomes (customs taxes) from 1995 to 2001.
- Deputy Minister of Financial & Economics from 2002 to 2005.
- Minister by proxy of Municipality from 2005 to 4/5/2006.
- Appointed Minister for Planning in the unified cabinet on 7th May 2006.
