19/07/2011, Erbil – In the presence of H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, the Iraqi and the KRG Classification Committees met to discuss issues related to the Classification process.
Dr. Sindi highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two Committees in the development process of the classification system in Iraqi and Kurdistan Region. He added that the new system must promote business activities of the local and foreign companies and attempt to increase their contribution to the economic growth. The minister asked the participants to discuss the issues and challenges of the system and propose solutions for the decision makers’ consideration.
