- the Ministry of Planning, in cooperation with UNDP, organized a workshop to
review public investment projects within the framework of the Iraqi and KRG
Public Sector Modernization program. Mr. Zagros Fatah, Director General of
Development Cooperation and Coordination represented the KRG Ministry of
Planning; also representatives of (UNDP), (PWC), (KPMG) and various KRG
ministries participated.
The purpose of the
program is to strengthen the inter-ministerial relations in three focus areas;
education, agriculture and health. The program also aims to improve strategic
planning in these sectors, which in turn contributes to the improvement of the delivery
of essential services to the public.
