November the 26th of 2013 H.E Dr. Ali Sindi the Minister of Planning (KRG) received the delegation headed by Mr. Khalid Lohashy the head of (UNFPA) in Iraq.
In the meeting two sides discussed the population affairs and the importance of Scio-economic development in Kurdistan region, also both sides discussed variety issues which are important to the KRG. Also for advancing this important issue, formation of special committee for Kurdistan region citizens policy were discussed, this proposed committee will have an importance role for creating a better policy for family organization and their health, the family policy making and family directive will benefit the Kurdistan society, and also will advance the scientific planning for the government to resolve the population problems.
Mr. Khalid Lohashy highlighted the suitability of Kurdistan demographic location for achieving important goals in-term of population which ultimately led to further development in all sector of life.
For his part the Minister of Planning shows his government support and any kind of assistance which will improve the life of Kurdistan population.
