Erbil, 10 September 2012 – H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi attended the Second Annual United Nations Iraq Retreat in Erbil, alongside H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Emad Ahmed, and Deputy Special Representative to the UN Secretary General Jacqueline Badcock.

Following remarks from H.E. Emad Ahmed, Dr. Sindi took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the entire UN Iraq team for all they have done in the Kurdistan Region over the past decade. Dr. Sindi also touched on the Ministry of Planning’s upcoming 2020 KRG Regional Development Strategy, and the importance of continuing the partnership between the KRG and the UN in the period to come.
