On 28/06/2011 H.E. Dr Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received Mr. Faiz F. Khouri, the Jordanian Consul General to the KRG. Dr. Sindi congratulated Mr. Khouri for his appointment as the first Jordanian Consul General to the KRG. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two sides and offered the MoP’s full support to the Consulate General in Erbil.
Mr. Khouri highlighted the importance of the establishment of the Jordanian Consulate General on the direct order from His Majesty King Abdulla the Second. He stated that this reflects the shared respect and admiration between His Majesty King Abdulla and His Excellency Masud Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region.
Both side agreed on the importance of continuous cooperation and exchange of information and experiences.
