13 February 2012, Erbil –
H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received Dr. Stephen Rimmer, senior
private sector development specialist in the World Bank (WB) and his
accompanied delegation.
The meeting discussed WB's
private sector development initiatives, including the ongoing regulatory review
and the recommendations presented to the KRG to consider during the
implementation of any necessary regulatory reform related to the private
sector.
Dr. Sindi emphasized the
importance of this project for the development process in the Kurdistan Region,
which eventually contribute to the revitalization of the private sector and
enable it to make the necessary contribution in the Region's economic infrastructure
development.
