Minister of Planning and UN-HABITAT discuss Joint Projects

On 19/12/2011, H.E.
Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received Ms Fiona McClueny, UN-HABITAT
head of mission in the Kurdistan Region.
Ms McClueny
outlined the UN-HABITAT country program for 2012 and the agreement on co-financing
project in the housing sector.
Dr. Sindi
emphasized the importance of cooperation with UN-HABITAT particularly at this
stage, where the KRG can finance projects but needs technical assistance from
international partners such as UN-HABITAT.
