RAND Continues its Research in the Kurdistan Region

20/09/2011, Erbil – H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received Mr. Michael Rich and Ms. Robin Meili from RAND, the leading American research institute. The purpose of the visit was to present the final reports of the last year’s research carried out by RAND to assess health, education, data collection and private sector development in the Kurdistan Region.

In addition, both sides agreed to continue the work to make further assessment and present practical recommendations and policy proposals to the Kurdistan Regional Government to carry out the necessary reform.

It is worth mentioning that RAND is a leading American research institute that has a long history of research in many countries around the world.
