GD of Strategic Planning

The General Directorate is responsible for the process that starts when any ministry submits a proposal for a project that they wish to implement. The directorate reviews the project plan, applies its technical suggestions and returns it to the concerned ministry for review. The concerned ministry will then decide whether or not to present it in their yearly budget to the Council of Ministers committee.

The GD consists of the following Directorates:

• Directorate of Regional Planning
• Directorate of collecting and Coordinating Plan
• Directorate of infrastructure planning
• Directorate of Social Services Planning
• Directorate of Education and Culture Planning
• Directorate of Economic Planning
