21/07/2011, Erbil – In the presence of H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, KRG and the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) signed two agreements related to the implementation of two projects in the Kurdistan Region.
The first agreement is related to the project of building Duhok Model School Complex in Duhok governorate. The project budget is 5.50 million USDs and will be completed in 2013. This agreement was signed by the KRG ministers of planning and education and Mr. Chong, KOICA representative.
The second agreement is related to the project of water supply system in Duhok governorate. The project budget is 3 million USDs and will be completed in 2013. The agreement was signed by the KRG minister of planning and minister of municipalities and tourism and Mr. Chong, KOICA representative.
At the end of the ceremony Dr. Sindi, Minister of Planning, told the press that South Korea’s continuous contribution to the development process in Kurdistan signifies the strengthening relations between the South Korean government and people with the Kurdistan government and people.
