October 4, 2012 – Dr. Ali Sindi, the KRG Minister of Planning received Mr. Guenter Hidenhof, Sector Manager of the Economic and Social Development Sector in the World Bank’s MENA Region, and the delegation accompanying him.
The Minister of Planning highlighted the need of the Kurdistan Regional Government for technical support in the areas of development, finance policy and public-private partnership projects, and asked the World Bank to effectively contribute to in these areas. After examining all aspects of how this cooperation could be put into action, the two sides agreed to conclude a memorandum of understanding to provide technical support soon.
