17 April 2012, Erbil – HE Dr. Ali Sindi, Minister of Planning of the Kurdistan Regional Government, received Mr. Edward Kallon, Representative and
Country Director for the World Food Programme in Iraq, and the accompanying delegation.
At the beginning, Minister of Planning appreciated the role of the United Nations agencies in the ongoing cooperation with the KRG in order to achieve vital projects in various fields in the Region.
Later, the two sides discussed Iraq’s situation in general and Region’s in particular, and highlighted WFP’s projects and activities in the Region in order to achieve strategic projects that will provide more and better services to the citizens in terms of quality and comprehensiveness to cover most areas of the Region.
