21/11/2011, France – a KRG official delegation headed by Dr. Ali Sindi,
KRG Minister of Planning and membered by representatives of the KRG ministries
of Electricity, Agriculture and Water Resource and Municipalities and Tourism;
visited the French Societe Du Canal Du Provence (SCP) in Bocshes Di Roune in
south east France. SCP is a leading French agency in water management and has
conducted water research in the Kurdistan Region and attempts to establish a
specialized water management agency within the KRG.
It is worth mentioning that the SCP project is funded by the French
government. The first stage is completed and the preparation to start the other
stages has already been made.
