Erbil, 22 April 2012 – H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received Mr. Takema Sakamoto, chief representative of JICA in Iraq and his accompanied delegation.
The meeting discussed JICA's strong willingness to expand its activities in the Kurdistan Region to implement more projects, and strengthen the relationships between the Kurdistan Region and Japan at all levels.
Currently, in coordination with the Ministry of Planning and other line ministries of the Kurdistan Regional Government, JICA is working on identifying new projects according to their priorities to implement in the Kurdistan Region.
