12/09/2011, Erbil – Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received a delegation from FAO headed by Dr. Fadel El-Zubi, Head of Iraq Office.
The delegation discussed the support they provide to the KRG particularly in agriculture. They also highlighted the importance of the KRG initiatives to co-finance projects with the UN agencies.
Dr. Sindi talked about the importance of agricultural development to the Region’s economy; adding that the MoP assists the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources to develop and implement plans to develop agriculture and increase local products.
