On 06/07/2011 H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received a delegation from the UK National School of Government (NSG) headed by Ms. Caterina Alari. The NSG is the leading UK governmental training institute with extensive training experience in the UK and abroad.
The NSG is assisting the Ministry of Planning to develop KRG-wide training strategy and improve the capacity of the Kurdistan Institute for Public Administration (KIPA) in the Ministry of Planning.
Dr. Sindi highlighted the importance of training for capacity development of the KRG civil servants; adding that the MoP plans to transform KIPA into an independent and self-sustaining training institute for the KRG ministries and agencies.
