On 15/05/2011 H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minster of Planning, received a German business delegation; made of business people from across all the economic sectors.
Dr. Ali presented a brief about the MoP’s roles and responsibilities and the available business and investment opportunities in the Region. The Minister stated that the presence of German businesses and companies in the Kurdistan Region is of importance and it is the policy of the government to encourage and facilitate the expansion of this presence.
Members of the delegation stated that the German businesses are beginning to appreciate the good security and stability the Kurdistan Region presents and the investment opportunities facilitated by the KRG. Adding that many Germany companies attempt to make it into the Kurdistan market; and the delegation is an indication of that.
