10/11/2011, Washington D.C. USA – H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning visited the Washington office of the International Monitory Fund (IMF) and met Mr. Ron van Rom, the Iraq section manager in the IMF.
Dr. Sindi made a short presentation on the economic and political development of the Kurdistan Region and requested the IMF to open a branch in the Region to assist the KRG and support the ongoing reform in monitory policies and management tools.
