On 12/04/2011 Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, received the German AGEF delegation headed by Mr. Peter Weiderud.
Mr. Weiderud highlighted AGEF’s training activities in Kurdistan Region; stating that in the ministries spokespersons training the participants thought that they have gained good information. Mr. Weiderud revealed that from now on the (ETCC) will take over all the AGEF activities.
Dr. Ali Sindi talked about the importance of training to develop skills of government employees and asked Mr. Weiderud to continue such activities. Dr. Ali also stated that a specialized course for civil servants on how to deal with the press can add value to what have been achieved so far. Finally he expressed the MoP’s readiness to offer any needed support and facilitation.
