On 22/11/2010,His Excellency,Dr.Ali Sindi received a delegation from the (Chaldean Assyrian Syriac Council of America).
His Excellency highlighted the current developments in the Kurdistan Region and the protections afforded to the Christian communities in the various cities of Region. The delegation expressed their satisfaction with the way the Kurdistani Christians live side by side with the rest of the community in harmony and peace. They added that while in the other parts on Iraq they face daily victimization and forceful displacement; in Kurdistan they go about their daily live without any hindrances.
Finally the delegation expressed their appreciation to the Kurdistan Regional Government for offering protection to the Christians that are forcefully displaced in the other parts of Iraq and take refuge in Kurdistan.
