Wednesday,
28.12.2011 - Dr. Ali Sindi, Minister of Planning of Kurdistan Regional
Government, received Mr. Suresh K. Reddy, ambassador of the Republic of India
to Iraq, and his accompanying delegation.
During a meeting,
they discussed ways of cooperation between the two sides in the area of
development in various sectors, especially administration, training and
capacity building.
On his part,
Minister of Planning indicated the significance of Indian companies’
contribution to the development process the Kurdistan Region witnesses, and
recommended the opening of Indian Consulate in Kurdistan Region that would further
enhance the relationships between the Region and India, and promote cooperation
between them.
