On 07/02/2011 Dr. Ali Sindi, Minister of Planning, Dr. Tahir Hawrami, Minister of Health and Mr. Jamil Haidar, Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources hold a meeting to discuss issues related to quality control of imported food products into Kurdistan and how to improve the quality control methods and mechanisms to insure the high quality of food products.

Finally various ways to advance the testing process in the border crossings were highlighted and a decision was made to have further consultation with specialized international agencies to find the best solution to the issue.
