Head of DFR receives incoming Head of Japan’s Consular Office in the Kurdistan Region

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (DFR.GOV.KRD) – Head of Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) received on Tuesday the newly appointed Japanese Head of Consular Office in the Kurdistan Region, Nagayama Youshiko.

During the meeting, Minister Dizayee congratulated Ms Youshiko on assuming her new responsibility and offered DFR’s full support, while also wished her success in performing her duties at the office.

Minister Dizayee also stated that Japan plays an important role in the international community in the areas of technology, science, economy, and others. He hoped that Ms Youshiko would play a significant role by sharing her country's successful experiences with the Kurdistan Region.

On her part, Ms Youshiko expressed her delight for her new position and work in the Region, and stressed on further strengthen bilateral relations in diverse fields between the Kurdistan Region and Japan.
