Minister Safeen Dizayee meets with Charge d'affairs of the Embassy of Indonesia in Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (DFR.GOV.KRD) – The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)’s Minister of Foreign Relations Safeen Dizayee met on Sunday Mr. Harryansah Khairul, the Charge d'affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Iraq and his accompanying delegation at the Department.

During the meeting, Minister Dizayee and Mr. Khairul discussed bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Indonesia.

The minister expressed the readiness of the KRG and the DFR to further develop bilateral relations between the two countries in potential areas of cooperation.

The Indonesian Charge d'affairs expressed his delight at the opportunity to meet Minister Dizayee and reaffirmed his country’s willingness to strengthen relations and cooperation with the Kurdistan Region in various areas, as well as to open their diplomatic representation office in the Region.

The two sides also exchanged views on the current developments and situation in the country and beyond.
